    Matabeleland, traditional region in southwestern Zimbabwe, inhabited mainly by the Bantu-speaking Ndebele people. It includes the southwestern portion of Zimbabwe’s High and Middle velds, plateau country that ranges in elevation from 3, to 5, feet ( to 1, m). The region slopes downward. Fold-outs, if any, are not part of the book. If the original book was published in multiple volumes then this reprint is of only one volume, not the whole set.
